| PTGS2

Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), also known as prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 2 ( PTGS2), is an enzyme encoded by the PTGS2 gene. PTGS2 (COX-2) exists as a homodimer, each monomer with a molecular mass of about 7 kDa. It is involved in the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandin H2, an important precursor of prostacyclin, which is expressed in inflammation.

| Recovery

The recovery of Mouse PTGS2 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
